I got one of my older bows that I was thinking about converting it to blowfish with. I was just wondering what the cost will be and what all I will need? It's set up for deer now and ain't been shot for about 5 years now.

You will need a reel and arrow. A good reel to start out with would be the AMS retriever pro for about 72 dollars at bowfishing extreme and i bet you could find a used one on ebay cheaper. As far as arrows, pick your poison. You do not need a 40 dollar arrow to shoot fish. A standard white shaft arrow with a muzzy carp point will do fine for carp. You may need to go up to a stngray point or grapple for rays.

you could buy the bohning cone reel that mounts to the front and spins but they are dangerous in my opinion.
