Any other industry partners who don’t want to do business with someone just because they are liberal?

Maybe we should add that as a standard question for IP sections: “Liberals welcome?”

I don’t want to spend money at the wrong place and offend a business because I infected their cash flow with my dirty liberal dollars.

Liberals, like most other people, are not single issue voters. There are plenty pro 2A liberals, who are liberal due to other reasons. They are not "enemies" or anything similar. They just have different opinions. Odds are if they are asking questions, then they are likely open to proper discussion. This whole "all liberals are braindead" sort of deal is the same as them saying all conservatives are deplorables. that sort of train of thought helps no one

Folks in California long lines bought and have to wait for pickup. Gun Stores closed by CA Gov as not essential businesses to be open in COVID-19 world. So none get pick up guns they paid for in advance! Messed up. At least Gun Shops here in MD deemed essential to open by Gov MD!

I hope no gun stores/vendors interact or aid this department in their future firearms purchases. As I read another article on the topic, the CA governor punted and allowed counties to make this decision.

I have had 3 people call me for ammo in the last 2 days.

One of them I haven't spoken to in over a year. He somehow knew I reloaded and called and asked "How much for you to make me 200 M&P .380 bullets" . I told him I don't reload .380. He said "yeah, but I need M&P .380"

I told him I don't have any bullets right now and I'm looking and would he call me if he finds any

I completely agree with the sentiment that this is a rare opportunity to engage and educate. Most folks only know what they’re told and in all things 2A they are lied to. Now that some see a legitimate reason to consider a firearms purchase, they must necessarily learn some facts. It’s quite similar to the 9-11 aftermath. We have a family four houses down that is rethinking the issue. Their daughter is a major player in MDA and is likely a lost cause bit the others are open-minded.

The real lesson for them is that you cannot figure all this out in the midst of a crisis. They need to think long-term about all of the associated requirements and then train to become safe and proficient.
