    To be fair, our founding fathers could have never imagined deadly assault lever action rifles. In fact, they could not have imagined anything beyond muskets, so that's all we should have. Obviously.

    Similar to a belt loop for bump fire the lever lends itself to be a mechanism to touch off a round as soon as it is chambered. Just a guess.

    The Rifleman had a screw tapped into the lever to pull the trigger when cycled, one round per trigger press so I'm guessing well within the ATF's ever changing rules..... for now

    I just checked and pink shirts are sold out so they are getting ready for the new session.

    What this country needs is a good $1000 lightweight Gatling gun in .223.

    Perhaps a single barrel Ager or Gardner, or a mini- Nordenfelt.
