Rossi 92. Fun to shoot!
Very nice. If you haven't already found it, there is a site that focuses on the Rossi rifles. https://www.rossi-rifleman.com
Have you had the opportunity to examine your fired brass to see if any of it is deformed like the issues discussed in this thread? https://www.mdshooters.com/showthread.php?t=233392
Was this a shop that did that Junkie?
Yes, it was. I was going to take them to court and i was assured by two lawyer friends id win since i have the receipt but i know that in the next year or so there will be deals to be had as they are planning on retiring and rather than burn the bridge i decided to keep the channel open and deals flowing.

45-70. She’s fun.
I bet she is!
I was able to harvest 2 doe last Saturday, with my 45/70 guide gun. 1st time, I’ve ever taken it hunting. Mine is Very accurate. The the power of a 300 grain hollow point, at 1900fps, is Devastating! Both deer dropped right there. One was about 65 yards away, the other was much closer, probably within 20 yards. They never knew what hit them!
Nice! I have a set of XS sights coming for mine then I will sight it in. It hits clays at 12 yards but I typically shoot 30-40 at my stand. Once the new sights are on I’ll take it out for sure. I may go scout scope with quick rings as well at some point so I can stalk the bedding areas with sights and hunt the stand with the scope.
I took a button buck on Tuesday with my 270. It quite literally fell over and never moved again. I’ve taken a lot of deer but never had one literally fall over completely dead. 30 yards with 130gr Winchester hunting loads.
Nice!
I’ve used many different rifles/ shotguns and muzzleloaders for deer hunting, only a few have dropped on the spot. The thing that blows me away is I’ve watched my son drop more deer on the spot than I have ever done and he uses a 243. Makes me wonder why, I don’t use the same caliber.
Just picked this up at Harrisburg...Marlin 39-A from 1952 (my birth year). Beautiful rifle...
Why are my photos always upside down?
