Your pic disappeared (maybe because it was upside down?) but my Tapatalk feed is still showing it (below - I'll delete if you want).

How big is that boar? Where was the hunt (given the snow)?

Thanks. I have no idea why it loaded upside down. Perhaps it disappeared during my feeble attempts to flip it. He was about 300lbs and the hunt was in PA in February

I love shooting it. If you look closely you can see the hole in his ear flap. Exactly where I wanted it!
Very cool. At what distance do you think you made the shot? It's a real bruiser. Wouldn't want to be close.

I was shooting my uberti/Taylor’s 1873 this weekend. Had 5 failure to fires shooting Tomkat 38s. Never had a problem before with these rounds. There was a dimple in the primer, I’m thinking it might be a soft hammer spring as the action was “tuned up” at some point.

Little over a month ago, I posted I was looking for a 30-30 lever action. I picked this one up from another member on here a few days after I posted my WTB ad. Anyways, I finally got a chance to shoot it this afternoon. Very nice Winchester 94, made in the 1980’s. Shot great, and was a lot of fun. Going to keep working with it, and it will probably go to the deer stand at least once with me this coming fall, just for nostalgia.

Glad it is getting some time out in the field.
Those are flat out awesome photos!

She might be going back out to the range tomorrow afternoon! Thanks for the nice comments about the photos. Believe it or not, they were taken with my cell phone, I just used the standard app, to change them a bit.

I just walked back from my neighbors house since I saw him load up some rifles into another old timers car. He has been trying to reduce his inventory for the past year since he is too old to shoot.

He asked if I knew anything about these two lever action rifles that he wants to sell. He purchased them direct many years ago and from what he tells me, these commemorative rifles had to be purchased together. They have never been fired. As such he wants to sell them together too. He has no idea what they are worth but he know what he paid and would like to find a buyer.

    Can you guys help?

Both are Winchester Centennial 30 cal. And I can get more pics as needed

That's a hard one. The special edition Winchesters are hard to value as they are very buyer centric. Winchester rolled out hundreds of editions targeted to collectors with cosmetic touches, the nice thing about those is they appear to have a factory peep sight. Then of course no one wants to shoot them.

Your best bet is to run a search on closed GB auctions and sample the ones that have actually sold. If I was going from my gut I would say $700 to $800 each.

Certainly there is value but there are a lot of these on the market.
