  • Nodak is really good with service. We ordered 2 NDS-1s and 1 NDS-1P for a client while they were supposedly out of stock. We got them less than two weeks after I dropped the money order in the mail.

So...based on the pictures on the NDS 1's we need to drill the holes for the front and rear trunions- I assume that's for a better fit, specifically in the magazine area....

How do you do the layout?

From the receiver stubs or is there an easy way to do it off the trunion itself?

There are templates available pretty readily. I was a LITTLE dissapointed when I found they did not come with trunion holes as the NDS-3 I did my weld build off of had them and all you had to do was line up the trunion with the reciever and burn a weld into it. So I'm not quite sure why NoDak sells these for 30 bucks more when they, in my opinion are incomplete.

I just talked to NoDak Spud and was told they routinely do not drill trunion holes due to variations in models. I asked how to locate the holes and was told to measure them from the trunion...not a great deal of help.

Romney just suspended his campaign...can't believe it!!

    Good news, Dave

Just make sure to go over with Gideon's that people have specific serial numbers ordered and he needs to match them up with the correct paperwork before submitting them.... :)

Rest assured, I sent him a copy of my master excel sheet.

I'm hoping that since I have the only two standard serial NDS-1's, they are consecutively numbered. Not that it will matter much with them not matching the parts kits-but it would still be cool.
