    Throat wear and Gas Port erosion are the things that kill AR barrels. Without a Bore Scope or Gauges, its not often possible to know how much life is left on a barrel.

    I doubt any L.E. Trade would see enough shooting unless it was an Academy gun or "Class" gun.

    .........And usually these guns ^^^ will show very obvious external wear, especially if they are placed in the students hands to be stripped and cleaned after shooting very frequently from one class to the next. Most LE trade AR's spend by far, most of their time in a case, or in a rack.
