    I don't have much personal experience with your question. That said, The deer seasons are long in MD. Some deer season is open simultaneous to just about all small-game seasons. You (or I) are as justified to hunt small-game as someone else is to hunt deer. I know, I know, I try to avoid exactly what you're saying to, but we really are justified. :innocent0

    As to disturbing their hunt, while the deer hunters may not realize it, you may actually do them more good than harm during this late segment by getting deer moving, especially later in the morning. It'd be sort of a one-man, multi-directional drive. :D

    Thanks, agree wholeheartedly with you.... but sometimes (and I have been guilty of it as well when deer archery season) deer hunters get really really upset when you "trespass on thier land". Just wanted to try and minimize that intrusion.
