Nope, he supports AW ban.
No more than the presumptuous republican nominee.
He has signed most pro-gun bills the OH legislature sent to him. We have a record to judge him on.

Unions are concerned with salaries and WORKING CONDITIONS, which would explain their stance, legal or not. I don't blame the union for trying, because as mentioned, their leaders are elected, and he may be doing what the rank and file wants, legal or not.
I believe I heard that the New Black Panthers are going to protest at the convention and they will be carrying weapons. Then you add in the Bikers and there could be an explosive display like no 4th of July celebration will ever match. You can't suspend the Constitution, so it's going to be a very rough few days for the peace officers assigned to keep the peace.
One question. Does this statute pertain to just Ohio residence or anyone traveling through the state that is not an Ohio resident?

It's all Paranoia Theater from the MSM...
I'm 99 percent sure the OC law applies to everyone who isn't a prohibited person.
OTOH, OC in Philly will require a permit
Not saying you should. And I didn't say it was specific to the convention. but since the topic is carry at a convention, I thought it prudent to mention CCW laws there as well.
No they aswked for the law to be suspended in Cuyahoga County only, where Cleveland is located.
And Kasich gave the correct repsonse. "I cannot suspend a constitutional right"
Let's see what the libs try in Philly.
Black Panthers exercising 2nd A in California in the 60's led to the Mulford Act which ended open carry in California. Mulford wrote the bill, it passed and Ronald Regan signed it into law.

I respectfully disagree. While in Congress John Kasich voted for the 1994 AW ban and it only passed the house by a 2 vote margin.
So ? Trump was for the AW ban. Before he was against it. Or after he was against it. Nobody can really tell.
If you want to see the 2nd amendment traded for a tax cut, vote Trump.
