    In again. Thanks.

The knives in the photos are of a much higher quality than my "authentic" knife. Upon closer inspection you can see the grind marks left by a belt sander lol. Kind of a wavy effect on the blade. I can really wack and hack using my Cold Steel w/ the long handle version.

    In again.

So does anyone have a techniques for sharpening?

I have a belt grinder that I use. But you can use something like a mouse pad and 1,000 grit sand paper. The idea is to maintain that convex grind. After words give it a strop with leather or your belt. There are ways to sharpen with stones to maintain convex as well. Rods work well too if you have ceramic ones!

Oh since we’re all saying it! In again lmao

We need to contact Andrew to find out the angles used for each grind...

I wonder if they even know or if it's just native knowledge

Angles? Shoooot only reason I know the angles on my knives is because I’ve sharpened them so many times they become my eye ball angle. Lol. I just look at the space between spine and belt. I couldn’t even begin to guess what they are

I love the elk, but I am not happy with the edge on my Spur. I don't have the skillset to correct it. Anyone know if there is someone local I can take it to?

Burrbenders is great. Not sure where you’re at but they come to Homestead Gardens in Davidsonville on Sat and Sun and in Severna Park on Monday to sharpen while you wait. Mail order sharpening service only the rest of the week. Have had many knives and axes sharpened by them over the years with zero complaints.
