This gun is amazing. It has run like a top since I got it and it still goes on ticking. The big difference I think is the steel rails and steel slide. It is still as tight as new and accuracy is surprisingly good. Today I did 50 rounds of double taps at 10 yards and kept all but two flyers ( 8 inches out) in a 3 inch group. I think the flyers were a couple of sintered metal rounds that got in with my 9 mm stuff. They printed about a inch away from each other but about 6 inches low.

Diamondback now makes a +1 floor plate for its mags which gives you a 15 round load out with two mags. Considering the wear on my P32 and LCP MAX aluminum FCU's, I don't think I'll shoot them nearly as much as I shoot the DB9.

I've thought about one to mess with.
Did you upgrade the sights or change anything else?
I upgraded the sights to XS sights. It takes sights cut for Glock 42/43 slides so there is plenty to choose from if you don't like XS. The only other mod I made is to add a Hogue handall which really helps to control muzzle flip. The gun is built like a tank for skinny money. It is perfect for pocket carry and it's 3.1 inch barrel makes it as accurate as my Sig P365.

In pictures the grip looks like it is nearly a 90 degree angle to the rest of the frame. Did that require getting used to, or does it point naturally?

I too thought it was too severe but it works. The only time it seems awkward is if you were to wear it in a belt holster as the grip is lower than guns with an angle to them.

As long as you don't have monster hands, it points nicely. If you have big hands, it can get crowded. Also, when dry firing, I thought I was going to get pinched by the trigger guard but when actually shooting, it didn't bite me at all.

I got one a couple months back. Pleased with it so far may have to try that handball grip.

Great minds think alike. BTW, someone with a nice Pacer moved into Lee a little while ago. It's going backwards in time. We have 140's, 170's, C-195, an Airknocker and Navion. Much less boring that watching Skyhawks fly around.

Haven’t been over to Lee for a while. I have a Twin Comanche now, keep it at HGR. Use it mostly for travel for DAR work.

Does it use the same mag spring? Any issues noted?

BTW, how stiff is the slide spring? My wife doesn't have a lot of hand strength.

I wouldn't recommend this for someone with hand strength issues. It is the lightest 9mm pocket gun and that means that it is flippy. The slide is not the hardest to rack but it is more than a LCP Max or a KT P32.

My wife has trouble racking slides. The one that worked for her is the Kimber Micro 9. A little pricey, but she is happy with it.

I've been thinking about one of these for quite a while for when the P365 is too big.
PSA currently has a few colors of them on sale for $180. $210 delivered to your FFL. That finally got me off the fence and I have a bronze one inbound.
