Friends, my move date is fast approaching so this will be the last HoCo meetup I'll attend/organize. Fortunately Hyper-W has stepped up to organize future meetups.

I know there was a call for meetups to be held in Ellicott City and I hope there will be future meetups in that town. However, for my final meetup I'll pick a place I've been to before: Looney's Pub in Maple Lawn. I think we had a good time there the last time.

Proposed date: 7/12 at 1730.

Proposed karma: I have two Magpul 20-rnd mags in some shade of green (foliage or OD).

Sadly escape is not quite the right word: out of the frying pan and into the fire. I'm going to the New Jersey Soviet Socialist Republic. I was lent down here three years ago to help out with a BRAC closure of the agency's local office. Fortunately, I've lived there before and still have an FOID. Apparently I need to surrender it for address change, but until I do, it's still valid for possession/transport but not purchase.


The karma drawing will be held at the meetup, yes you need to be present or have made an appearance and snuck out early.
