    Unfortunate that violence occurred.

McCarthy is a tool. He's NYPD alum and also says that the NRA is racist. He also goes around doing lots of crazy stuff while drunk like shooting out street lights and arguing with cops outside his jurisdiction.

Not surprising that major news media didn't report this. Maybe if violent criminals saw more of this they would think twice before going BACK into the house to get the gun and start the shooting.

+1 to the good guys. Notice these good guys left the scene, instead of creating a major shoot out. Tactical retreat, and a level head are part of gun control too.

    McCarthy is a tool.

While that may be (and I don't know anything about Superintendent McCarthy), he doesn't mention gun control per se at all during his news conference, other than saying there's a proliferation of guns (which, among criminals, I'd say is certainly true).

He's complaining about the "revolving door" of convicted criminals going right back on the street. Something most of us would probably complain about, too.

The headline? Yeah, it's crappy and misleading...

I think he's calmed down a bit since they got spanked in court and the city had to pay SAF and NRA's legal bills. But make no mistake he thinks only the police should have guns and is associated with father pfleger and the rest of them.

This guy I guess shouldn't of been allowed to defend himself

Examples like this are why I'm almost thinking It'd just be best to grab the biggest blade I have to do the job. So aggravating that it has to be such a debacle to defend yourself.

    WILD WEST!!

    BLOOD IN THE STREETS!

    THE CHILDREN!!!!!

Oh... wait... they already have all that.

Citizens protecting themselves?? This is a good thing!

    But... But........

They weren't in the air off his balcony.

    This is NOT proper Bidening.

I lol'd so hard at both of these :lol2:
