    I recently bought a like-new (very little used) Buck Mark .22LR in stainless for under $300, and it came with three mags, case, etc. It's a very nice pistol, shoots exceptionally well, and it was less than a third of what you are looking at paying for the Walther. Yep, that Walther is really nice, but think of what else you can buy with the left over $700.

    I ran the list of ppk/s .22 completed auctions. Looks like some have moved under $600, up through to 950. You should be able to score in the 750 range without too much trouble.

    Look for the Manurhin ones; they also made the Walthers, from post-WWII on up, but the Walther rollmark brings a slight premium. Both made in the same place, same exact pistol.

    It's a higher level if you want the true PPK in .22. A lot more scarce, a lot more collectible. Rather more money, as well.
