I'm moving to Florida in November. I'd like to get my CCW for FL before I go. I used to see FL classes all over the place. Is anyone still doing them?

Many instructors teach the UT course and add live fire so you can qualify for a FL permit. Not sure who does a stand alone. NRA Basic pistol or any NRA class with live fire would work.

I believe shooting in a match also counts. Find a local CMP or other surplus match. Those are simple to do.

I would be interested in getting the VA and FL, in addition to the UT I currently have.
I would also like to see if it's feasible for this being done in groups, to let MD know we're willing to pay fees to other states, since our own home state won't take our money.

Your UT training cert will work in VA.

We do classes for Va, Utah and Florida.
Find an NRA first steps course and it will qualify for the Florida permit.
