I am trying to put a Troy Medieval Flash Suppressor on my DDM4V5, and the directions say to use a 3/4" wrench. I cannot figure out how to take the old one off without scratching the heck out of it, nor am I sure how to hold the rifle to get enough torque to get it off. Also, the directions show some kind of tool I've not seen before. Photos included.

That's an AR armorer's/barrel wrench. If you clamp the upper in one of those Clam shell upper reciever holders in a vise you should be able to back it off without a problem.

I'm in Bel Air also, I can give you a hand with it if you want.

Good tool to have if you own an AR. Dan sells them at Gun Connection or you can get help locally. Def look into getting one for personal use.

Careful about torquing the barrel against the upper receiver. Chad recommends to clamp the barrel. Reduces torsional stress in the barrel and eliminates the possibility of damage to the upper receiver. Some muzzle devices are tight as shit.
