    For those of us without access to machine tools, you can hand lap a crush washer on a wet stone, or if you do not have a wet stone, you can use a brick and soapy water. That way if you FUBAR it then you are only out a cheap crush washer, so you get as many 'second chances' as you need to get it right!

    Yeah its a south bend 9, in sweet condition i traded a knife for it, best trade I ever did.

    Sticky, I couldn't read a set of dial calipers if i tried haha.

    Personally, I use a whet stone and a file to lap the end of the muzzle device until it times. If I'm feeling froggy, or I have a fixture that works, I'll put it in the mill.

    A lathe is a much better solution, heh.
