info on old shotgun

I bought a Hopkins and Allen single barrel 12Ga shotgun at an auction yesterday and was curious if anyone knew anything about them ie value rarity ect and if it can fire regular shot shells (any info a plus)

not worth much at all. Barrel should be forged steel. Check if it locks up tight, If so it can handle regular light loads.
