    i now have a rcbs rock chucker loader. do i have to use their dies and shell holders or can i use lee or others? i am a newbie in rifle/hand gun reloading. loaded shotgun for many years. talk slowly please:)

    You can use any "standard" (7/8"-14 thread) dies in your RockChucker. Lee dies should work fine

    Shellholders are less "universal", but those from Redding and RCBS will fit, as will a few others. I am not sure about Lee.

    Any of the standard die sets will work. The shell holder must have the part on the bottom that holds it in the ram.

    The Lee shell holders for the auto prime are flat and will not work.

    The Lee shell holders for the auto prime are flat and will not work.

    The Lee Universal Shell Holder Set (that is NOT for the auto prime) WILL work though.

    There are two different sets for the Lee system. One is only for their priming tool (red case), the other is for the press (green case).
