Infinity 2011 Steel Frame Finish?

What is the preferred finish for 2011 Infinity Steel grips? Since they are only produced in Carbon Steel and not in Stainless, once all the fitting and blending is complete, I would need to get it finished in some type of finish to help with rust prevention. How have users finished their grips? Pros/cons of various finishes?

The only way I finish non-stainless these days: parkerizing with an optional top coat of Molyresin

Not to my knowledge. It's like getting barrels cryod. You are going to have to send it out.

When I've had it done, it was either the manufacturer (actions) or the smith who handled it. If you go directly to a vendor you will need to be sure they handle gun parts. Lots of places in the coating industry are funny about it. Robar chrome does chrome and np3, if they can't do dlc they can probably point you to a gun friendly provider.

Well that sucks......they did great work on two guns for me.

ETA: my friend texted me.back that his builder uses a company called jabuie and he thinks they are in north carolina. He also added that a lot of the coating outfits will only deal with ffls so always call and talk to them first.

Evolution Armory on the 1911forum does a DLC, Ionbond or something like that.
