Independence 5.56 NATO Rifle Ammunition

Placed the order over an hour ago and haven't received order confirmation email. Logged on to Cabela's and checked my order status and it is still be processed.

It's still 50 cents a round, not exactly a steal. I guess it's better than a dollar a round though. I still have the Winchester 223 from cabelas on back order for 37 cents/round.

Has anybody shot this before? I'm not familiar with Independence?

I dont see that, when I look at the 5.56 page it only allows you to choose 7.62 x 39 from the chart to add to cart.

Picked up 600 rounds of the Independence stuff anyway...i'd go hog wild but its still just too expensive for me to get behind it. If shooting stays inflated like this much longer ill be out of the game.

Thanks for the heads up, I ordered some at least the $5.00 shipping helps out. At these prices though I'm thinking reloading might be a viable option in my near future. I sure hope this Independence rifle ammo holds up better than their shotgun ammo does. It was fun watching big daddy throw a fit...lol
