Must’ve come out of Albania with the Chinese SKS’ and Type 53’s.

I think I’m gonna take a gamble and order one. Price doesn’t seem too unreasonable.

These also have the trigger safety (like a Glock) no stupid flip safety like on the Romanian/Polish/Yugo Tokarevs

The one pictured is a 1983 or 1984 based on the S/N. Still C&R but may have interesting origins. Can't see the import mark, maybe it's discrete? The website wouldn't open up any but the top pic for me.

They placed the import mark on the bottom of the slide in front of the frame.

I've spent far too much money this month, but I feel like I'm going to regret waiting on those. $350 for a Type 54 with a somewhat discrete import mark and no frame safety seems like a steal.

Right there with you. If a whole LPK+MOE Furniture set and 80% lower weren't showing up on my doorstep in the next hour, and CMP was still more than a month off on shipping me my Garand, I'd likely grab one. I haven't seen anyone posting this in the larger FB C&R pages yet, so I'm hoping it stays on the DL until next month when I can justify another expenditure in that range.

Yep, of course something interesting shows up the same month I decide to get into tactical gear. I've even got a spare M57 trigger assembly that should be a drop in replacement.

I thought about waiting too since I made some rather large purchases in the last couple months, but I’ve waited on stuff in the past and missed out big. Didn’t want to let it happen again.

Total came out to $350 plus $15 shipping (no tax).

Hopefully the one I get is nice. There’s some on Gunbroker that are going for $400+ already.

Anybody know if a Norinco 213 (the 9mm version) trigger will work in these? Might get one just in case.

Just got mine! Looks really nice! Replaced the stupid Glock style trigger with a Norinco 213 trigger. Easy swap. I’m gonna take it out in the backyard and shoot off a few rounds

Covered in spots of surface rust. Cleaned it and now its covered in spots of lost finish. I emailed them, it's not a very good to excellent pistol.

Dang that sucks. Mine was the exact opposite. You could tell it’s a refurbished pistol, but it looks great
