    There is Russian Roulette, then there's "Classic Roulette"

    I don't know about that its pretty simple

    VG = G
    Excellent = VG
    Unissued = VG

    Billboards broad and visible for your protection but that's not all them, folks like PW arms take no chances on markings.

    Yeah, sadly found that out. First surplus order from them. Cz82. Mechanically it seems great (will find out Thrursday, going to the range then). Cosmetic...”good” is a pocket full of bull crap. Fair at best. Nothings broken, I’ll say that at least. Seems to be a good candidate to have the finish stripped and rust cold blued.

    like this "classic" that ended last weekend. complete with ginormous CAI import billboard on the slide.
    and to add insult to injury the import mark says it's a P1 but it's actually a commercial P38 (and hence not C&R since it's from the 70's but who's counting).

    I played "Classic Roulette" with a CZ-50 last year.

    The gun itself was mechanically OK, but far inferior to the VG handpick I was expecting with cracked grips and heavy scratches on the slide.

    I have previously bought guns from Classic that were pretty close to their rating though. Hence, the CZ-50 purchase.

    Same experience with their CZ-50's. That's why i passed on the CZ-82's.

    Yeah, in reading the reviews on their site and talking to guys here, it seems like sometimes you get what they advertise and othertimes you get substandard stuff and never know what is going to be what. For their C&R stuff.

    At least most of their brand new house brand stuff seems pretty good. Or at least I’ve yet to have an issue out of several purchases of things like barrels and sights.

    My Cz82 has a big old import electro penciling on the frame on the front of the grip. Bonus that the finish wear partially obscures it.

    yes, that's Numrich. Sounds like it's pretty wore out.
    They had a tendency to eat locking blocks which are difficult to impossible to find.

    A model 1934 or 1935 is pretty much "bullet-proof" and built like a tank. But in .380 and .32 ACP not 9mm.
    Search for "Beretta 1951 lock block" for tales of woe :)

    SARCO had the blocks awhile back, but they sold out quickly.
