I saw Classic had an M39 no maker in stock with light rust for $350 so I rolled the dice. 91/30s are getting close to $300 so hopefully I won't get hosed too bad...

If the Finn is in a safe to shoot condition, $350 is not a bad price. I have 6 Finns in my Mosin collection. Every one of them is an incredible shooter. The M39 is my favorite Milsurp bolt action shooter.

Nope. CMP is as cheap as it gets and it's gone up $.30 per round in the last year. Crazy.

SOG has milsurp 30-06 for 60 cents a round. $160 for a 270 round can. I have no idea if this is the reduced pressure stuff that a Garand needs.

Corrosive for bolt guns.
Non for the Garand.

It's hard to tell but I think that's Korean surplus from the writing on the can. A few lots are noncorrosive, but most is corrosive. Some are also prone to failure.

CMP was selling 200 rds of the greek stuff for $135 if I remember correctly, which would be about he same amount for modern ammo.... If didn't have so much of the greek stuff, I'd be a Prvi buyer

Ouch, not sure its a buy if they keep around $50 in mags. With shipping and replacement mags you'll be up to almost $400 for it.

Yep, unless they discount $25 per mag this is not a deal for Marylanders

I already have a CZ82 and several mags. Still, considering the mags, shipping, it comes out to $390 or there abouts.

I really don't think they'll discount for the mags. I'll call to ask, but I really doubt it.

Besides, that's $390 I can spend on something I don't have... And those Wolverines have been calling to me...

I don't think Classic will ship without the mags. Pay a little more and buy one from Dennis Kroh when he gets them. He will ship mags to someone for you. I am one of the few people who sold mine because I didn't do a thing for me and I really didn't like it.
