    For those who don't know, there are a few companies that make full size, fully functional Civil War reproduction cannons. Steen Cannons comes to mind.

    The NSSA (North-South Skirmish Association) actually has cannon competitions where live ammo is fired. I've never seen it, but I want to go up and check it out sometime.
    I had the pleasure of seeing a cannon competition a few years back. It was awsome! :thumbsup:

    Its a scale replica but I picked this block powder cannon up a couple years ago in a pawn shop. It has a 1" bore and is a heavy SOB but I've yet to shoot it.
