    Well, I'm not sure where the OP is with everything, but I joined IDPA last night and signed up to attend the training/observation thingy at AAFG this Saturday. If all goes well, maybe I'll shoot a match on the 23rd.

    I went to a range that had competition several times a month, took the safety class and started shooting. I now do it 3 to 4 times a month. It can be addictive. You are welcome to come to my club to observe and try it out. Entry is $5.00 so you don't get trophys but people come from as far as PA and NJ to shoot here and there are some real shooters but they are willling to help each other. It's located in Bridgeville, De starts at 9 and usually over before 1. Don't have to be IDPA or club member to try out. All you need is a holster, mag pouch, 3 or more mags, 150 rounds, eyes and ears, concealment garment and of course a firearm. PM me if interested.
