Just FYI, this isn't a trivia question that I know the answers to. Friend got them from a grandfather and doesn't really know.

The Top break IS plausibly close to an Iver Johnson. IJ also made an internally simplified version under the U.S. Revolver Co brand name . Or it could be a better than average Belgian clone . With close ups of details and markings , there is a pretty fair amount of info on the internet to determine specific models and generations of actual IJ and U.S. Rev .

The one on the left , we need markings , bore size , dimensions, close ups , etc .

Late 1870s to early 1890s , every darn country in Europe went through a rapidly changing selection of DA Revolvers. I occasional watch Mae & Othias , but I'm not immediately recognizing from the shape . A unique caliber markings or bore size could point a direction.

Plus more than once , with the Revolver and stack of reference books in front of us with my FFL buddy , we had to shrug and declare something a Belgian knockoff , with a Mish mash of features never seen in a major mfg gun .
