One does what one must do. I follow my heart. :D

P.S.: MOM, I reload for my Endfields. All of them are my babies. They are well fed and lovingly cared for. They want for absolutely nothing. :)

An SMLE was the first gun I ever bought. I need to get into reloading so that I can afford to fire the old warhorse a bit more often.

Mom, just for the record, if you see something that looks like this picture, it's mine, I left it there by accident and will be right over to pick it up.

I believe those two are it for my "old" stuff. Everything else is modern and I actually use them and know what they are :D

I do have a couple of sisters with similar closets, I can ask them if they are interested in having them identified.

Folks, please, please note that the specimen in this thread is not really a SMLE. It's a No.4 Mk1, or possibly a Mk1*. Real SMLEs have the blunt nose, and were one of the precursors to the No.4 Mk1/1*.

Yes, I can be picky about words. :)

This is your weapon, this is your..........., oh, nevermind.:innocent0

Yes, probably a few skeletons, but I am not telling...:innocent0

I stand corrected. And that would require a whole lot more of an explanation how he left "that" in the closet :lol2:

While you're technically correct, most of us lump this variant into the SMLE category. And we also know the difference between magazines and clips.
