Is it just my eyes...or is that scope mounted backwards? Looks like the locking ring for the eyepiece is on the muzzle end?

I think you are exactly correct sir....

Ding ding ding! I was wondering how long it'd take folks to notice that. Yep, it's a Wally World assembly. Never underestimate the aptitude and sheer genious of a Walmart associate. And the guy who rang up the sale was telling me he'd never seen a scope with a brighter view. :lol2: :lol2:

That is pretty wood, I have never seen birch look that, only maple.
Nice buy, I would have bought it too just based on stock and stainless.

Bought one of these for my son for his B Day. I have two others, another SS and a blued with pink Camo stock, ..ehg'hum, ...for me.

$217 is fair (what I paid) . Ten bucks cheaper (and obviously no tax in DE), $207 otd.

There are variations on these 60's. Believe it or not, this one is ONLY available at Wally World, specifically built for sale by them.

From what I can see, they are spraying clear over it, makes it really appear to be silver PAINT rather than stainless. And, yes, that is a different handle, the one I just got (Late November) had the standard curved one.

That's beautiful congrats!!! I try not to buy 22 because it doesn't get my juices flowing but that thing is just beautiful. You'll have to let us know how it shoots.

How come no pics of beagle food? Hahaha

Nice. I need another .22 like a new a-hole, but I would have bought that one just for for the wood.

Wait, you buy special food for beagels? Based upon my experience you could just leave your lunch on the table (or inside a locked container, no difference to them) and they'll take care of the rest.

Yep, the charging handle is a knobbed peg instead of the old blade design.

    Initial range report:
We fired maybe 40 rounds through the new toy last Saturday. With the wet snowy weather that day it wasn't a good test so I didn't save targets. At 50 yards we got 4" groups of 10 on paper. A little high, but good. My first take is shooting this new 22 is like butter. No recoil to speak of and it easily keeps your sight picture through the scope on target for the next shot. It loved CCI Mini Mags...like most of my 22's do.

I have no doubt once the new 60 is broken in and tuned it'll shoot great. But it has some real competition in my safe. Can measure up to to my Henry for accuracy?...well, we'll see.

    :)
