I Musta' Missed the Memo...

Thought I'd go up to Savage rifle range this morning and shoot with some of the Hooligans. I thought that. I brought a couple .22s along with a couple SBRs. It was a beautiful morning, just a gentle whisp of a breeze and a bright warming sun.

I zeroed the two .22s and did plenty of off-hand shooting with the SBRs. I even got to practice some shooting and moving...because I was the only one there . Not a Hooli in sight. I musta' missed the memo...

Any hoo, I made the best of a 5ive hour trip(2.5 each way) and rolled through close to 400 rounds of ammunition. Sorry guys, I policed up all my brass. Maybe some other time.

Never been successful in seeing one myself up there, but I heard they do exist. (Sunday not a good day for me to go shootin')

I think it takes at least two legitimate Hooli's to annoint you as a Hooli; but I could be wrong, I often am, and will be again.

CombatAK is in the hospital (mini stroke). Buff7mm has been working out of state and I was lazy and slept in. Sorry we missed you

I sure hope CombatAK will be ok. We had planned to meet Sunday morning and I thought it strange he didn't show. I didn't want to throw him under the bus, not knowing why he didn't make it. Now I know. That's to bad for AK. I will pray for his full recovery.

As for Buff, yeah, I figured he would be still on the road, working. As stated in my op, had a good time anyways on a beautiful morning. I will try again, further on down the road and maybe drag some others along with me.

Sorry we missed you outrider58! Hooli is sad! Yesterday was the first Sunday the Hooligans couldn't make it all year. We're gonna have to plan better next time.
