Hunters safety course

Good day, does anybody know where they are offering a Hunters safety course. I would prefer if it is closer to Baltimore. The course that I have seen is too far away and sometimes starts in March.

Well, almost all of the courses are listed on the DNR website. Most seem to be in spring to early fall and not really close to Baltimore but look for yourself:

The alternative is the online hunting class which you can find here:

nonetheless you need to participate in a field day with the first one seemingly starting in march.

Chances are that DNR knows more about those courses and dates than is on the internet, so feel free to call them.

They were holding one at the Loch Raven Skeet club back when I took it, maybe they still have them there?

Last season my girlfriend did the hunters saftey class you do at home. You complete the book given to you and you go in to take the test and shoot. It is very convenient. (we were both full time college students at the time) If you are looking for conveinance it cannot be beat.

Cresap Rifle Club will again be offering the Hunter's Safety Course.
I hope to have the dates on the website in near future.

Middle River Recreation and Parks Council is holding one at Victory Villa Community Center 404 Compass Road 410-887-0234. There will be 2 classes, ist one on Thursday March 5, 12, 19, & 26 7-9pm. 2nd class will be on Thursday April 9, 16, 23, & 30 7-9pm. Cost is $5, first come first serve. i took the online course, and have to take the field day. Does anyone know if any are being held in Cecil County? Online it has a ton outside of Cecil, but nothing close to the area?

I took mine at Bass Pro Shop at Arundel Mills.

I did the online thing and then had a one day 8 hour class. pretty easy to do.
