    I tell people here to put their thumb on the back of the slide, and I'm that crackpot from Richmond....but let Jerry Miculek teach that...well, oh boy! :lol2:

    I busted your balls, because I never heard it before. Looks like it is more common than I knew. I won't argue with it.

    I place my thumb on the back for tactile response if the pistol starts to "drag" when I reholster. Tells me something isn't right so stop holstering and see what's up.
