After sleeping for a couple hours I woke up to tell my wife of my experience. I AM EXTREMELY GLAD I took the day off and made the journey down there. I learned a lot about the process and got to meet some great people, not as many as I would have liked but I found myself glued to the screens listening to what everyone had to say. Some were articulate. Some were passionate. Some even got emotional.
What I enjoyed the most was being able to say I have fought for what I believe in and supported others doing the same. It was a great experience and to see it first hand, from the front lines, was electrifying.
