I think if I was going to pick a gun to use as a club, it would be the Garand. It's nice and thick and has a lot of heft to it.

Mosin's are cheaper as clubs though, and in a bind, they also work as canoe paddles.

I don't know about the garand, the wood handguards get kinda slick. I think my FAL is better balanced for swinging.
