Watching that shit show was disturbing.

The bills sponsor brought in Sam Levy from Everytown as her "expert" witness because she couldn't answer any technical questions about the bill.

Hopefully the 2a protections in Delaware's Constitution are sufficient to get this tossed out in court. Sending another donation to DSSA now.

DE has something Maryland doesn’t have; an explicit right to keep and bear arms in its constitution.

§ 20. Right to keep and bear arms.
Section 20. A person has the right to keep and bear arms for the defense of self, family, home and State, and for hunting and recreational use.

If this goes into effect and survives judicial scrutiny, there’s going to be a whole lot more Duncan Lemps. This ban is angry.

The Magazine Ban is also on it’s way to the Governor to be signed.
So anyone with magazines capable of holding more than 17rds can look forward to being guilty of a class e felony.

I may be leaving the state as a result. We’ll see.

AP News article today said "The magazine restriction bill was approved after being amended to reduce the first-offense penalty for possessing a prohibited magazine, changing it from a felony carrying up to five years in prison to a civil violation carrying a $100 fee. A second violation involving only possession would be a misdemeanor instead of a felony."

AP News article from 2 hours ago also said, "Exemptions also are included in the bill that bans future sales of, and restricts possession of, “assault weapons.” The legislation specifically targets more than 60 models of semiautomatic rifles, pistols and shotguns, as well as “copycat weapons.” The definition of a copycat weapon include a semiautomatic rifle that can accept a detachable magazine and has one additional feature, such as a folding stock, flash suppressor or a pistol grip “that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon.” Violating the bill’s prohibitions would be a felony punishable up to eight years behind bars."

The word “copycat” drives me almost as insane as “common sense”.

    I hate these people

"Copycat" also shows they just copied others speach/writing. We already knew plagiarism plays well in Delaware

As much as we want to preserve the heritage of America, we should take this statue down and put in storage for Delaware. If the people of Delaware continue to put the communists/socialists in charge, they don't deserve anything including this statue.

What did they do… copy the MD AWB word for word then just change “Maryland” to “Delaware”? Because that’s what it looks like.

except for a few new stupid ideas added in.

The enumerated "assault guns" include the nonexistant "Chinese Dragonov"

I feel bad for anyone who moved from MD to DE, but even a blind man could see that it wasnt the right state to move too. DE is no diff then MD, a few select areas control the whole state.
