Yes, that's the place, in Forestiville on Marlboro Pike near Silver Hill Rd. I went there once about 25 years ago or more to get the rear site set on my Ruger MK II. I didn't know anything about using Lock-tite or even clear nail polish back then. They used a punch to pinch the site in place and must have used a vise to hold teh firearm, becuase I now (still) have the dimple from the punch AND the ridges from the teeth of the vise on my MkII. They refused any compensation, naturally, and wouldn't return the firearm until I paid them $25.00 for their "efforts." You don't need to ask if I ever went back there.

Nope- that was a different gun store. Don owned/ran the Pointer Ridge place. He was a really nice guy- sadly he got feed up with trying to run a gun shop in MD and moved to VA.

Been there a LONG time, I used to go there and bought/sold with Greg the owner before he died. Haven't been there since the early 80's, it's no doubt something I wouldn't recognize anymore.

Never bought anything from them but I stop by from time to time and just happened to have stopped by there on thursday. They had some decent pricing (no gouging) but the selection of regulated guns was a little light. Guy behind the counter was cool but just a little pessimistic about the way things are going and feels that the ammo shortage will not go away.

    And therein lies the problem.

I don't see the problem, and I guess many others on this forum do not as well because they came out to support the shop when the antis and Jesse (Love Child) Jackson threatened to shut them down.

Guns shops are a precious commodity in this state and may get rarer if they pass some of these socialist gun laws to punish FFLs.
