    My home made brass catcher. coils up fits in .30 can set up in 10 sec.

    I fabricated this brass catcher/deflector from furring strips, shade cloth, wooden dowel and 2 wing nuts. Of course it's for shooting from the bench.

    nice job atlas!

    the mesh might be a bit tin.. it may melt w/ the hot brass.. never the less..its still original!

    Tried it out today. Developed a 8" rip in the net .Probably from springing it open while messing with it . will be on the lookout for heaver mesh. Jacked the idea from another net in a can I saw on the Internet. just cant see spending 80+beans for one

    go to walmart.. there is a chum bag you can get.. its a bit thicker.. its somewhat as heavy as laundry bag. i believe i got it from the fishing section..

    I made one a while back and it had served me very well. It's posted on this site somewhere.

    I've also got 2 more radical designs in the works. Looking forward to seeing them put to the test. (If I get the time to finish them.)

    these work good, all you need to do is fab up some type of mount to suit your needs

    lol.. just did bought one of them at walmart for less than $7.. im replacing the net since its not the one you have on that picture.. now i need a base.. :D

    well depends what are you trying to catch.. if its coming for an ar.. it wouldnt be that hard.. but handguns.. yeah... trial and error. just make sure the ejection is consistent where its tossing the brass at.
