    Bringing this thread back to life. I've committed to a hunt in early Dec at the Howell Woods Environmental Learning Center. Any of you guys been to this camp? I'm a bit discouraged now from this thread and the mention of low hog populations in the Neuse River basin as this camp is in.

    I’ve been on a few hog hunts. My first and second were bow hunts from a stand. I did get an eater on the second hunt. Ive been on two thermal hunts in GA one with no opportunities and one I blew a shot. I much prefer the stalking of thermal over stand hunting. GL

    So, after I had went with the outfitter in 2020, their Facebook page was pretty quiet. This year however, they've posted quite a bit, and posted a lot of hogs, so things may be back up.
