High Power rifle shoot

I was reading the newest issue of American Riflrman and in the regional report area it said that there is a high power rifle shoot in Damascus on May 5. Does anyone have any info on this?

Found this in the Damascus IWLA April News Letter:

Seneca Valley HP Match on Saturday May 5, 2007 from
8:30AM to 2:00PM. Rifle Range is closed.

and in their calendar:

Sat 5, Seneca Valley Rifle Match 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM - Contact Mike Gugulis 301-740-3699 (Rifle range closed during event)

I see, it is also not open to the public.

according to the Izaak Walton League chapter website

"all of our rifle, pistol, air, archery and shotgun ranges are for members and their guest only, they are not open to the general public"

might wanna double check that i used to be a member up there, event's like this where open to the public. since if i m not mistaken you have to pay to enter to shot. I used to do some of the military shoot's they had when i was in high school up there and always had a blast, and met lot's of nice people.

I am a member of the club -- most events are open to non-members. Sometimes members get a discount on the event fee. The May 5 (and other events) is listed at the club web site. I shot the last match and this is a well-run match.

Hm... I'm an IWLA member but I belong to the Rockville chapter (range is in Germantown). This may prove interesting...
