It is an add-on I do not see it being an issue before or after Oct 1 since its for a pistol not an "assault weapon"

Nothing in SB281 that I read addresses a threaded barrel.

Only flash suppressors (not compensators) are mentioned in relation to an evil feature, and they are not banned unless another evil feature is present (and this is only for long guns).

Would these work on a Beretta 92 compact if I had a full length barrel in the gun. I've been wanting one of these for a while but don't want to throw down cash if it won't fit.

    Where they send me.
Not sure about legality. However, I would be worried about the quality of that compensator. Please do some research, Beretta Forum should have some good info for you on them and other options.

I have something similar to this design I picked up a few years back and I have had two major issues with the SGS style designs..

While it looks pretty nice when it is mounted, I was lucky to get 200-300 rounds before it had to be removed and cleaning to avoid cycling issues...Not a good thing for an otherwise reliable handgun.

Also, the pistol frames on the 92s will show finish wear from the tabs on these compensators, so if finish is a concearn put some thought into what your going to use to protect the finish on your 92.

    YMMV
