She apparently watches too much TV.

Edit: Isn't this what Obama/Holder tried with Fast&Furious or was that tracking just serial numbers?

Another edit: just finished viewing the video. It isn't (in Colion's opinion) to actually track them, but to make the prohibitively expensive.
Don't the Poors get chip assistance? :innocent0

Fun facts: as long as schedule 80 3/4" pipe, schedule 40 1" pipe, and 12 guage shotgun shells exist, untraceable guns exist.

This has been proposed before , and has already been * Covered * by Bolts Rock and SNI at HJC Committee .

Maybe we can start with chipping criminals. How about that?
You know, that's actually a very interesting idea. get convicted twice on violent felonies and get chipped.
That would go a long way finding out to see if he is present at other future shootings or later crime scenes.
    Kinda like the idea.

That's some serious crime reduction right there....
Criminals would be sent to chip row.

Maybe this has been done elsewhere and the data could be studied and results extrapolated. I’d predict that a real deep dive wouldn’t be necessary to ascertain the results.

Looks like the stalking laws would apply to this or maybe require a court order for each tracker. State privacy laws would likely shoot this down before the 2nd Amendment infringement issue kicks in.

Poppycock. The technology to tag a bullet with the shooter's DNA has been around for decades. Here, I found a screen shot from a 1995 documentary film on the subject. Even has a user-authentication safety-device built-in, which is also demonstrated in the documentary film.

This is someone's pipedream/science fiction. No gun manufacturer will ever incorporate this in their firearms. This is why you haven't seen this in the marketplace.

Pretty good idea. If Hunter Biden were to steal your gun and toss it in a trash can, it would save the secret service tons of time looking for it.

We are out of control, undisciplined and dangerous around guns so YOU must suffer!

Reminds me of a drunk Sultan that killed his family so now no Muslims are supposed to get boozed.
