I'm the PR for an estate and need to transfer a used firearm (Ruger LC9). The "interested parties" have done nothing to assist in the matter (and it's been a 4 year process). However, they do spend their time scrutinizing everything I do.

I need something valid to point to to say "this is what this firearm is worth today" without getting an appraisal. I looked at gunbroker but either I'm an idiot or I can't see "sold" items.

    Any suggestions?

I have a Ruger LC 9. Thought it would be a decent CCW piece.
IIRC I bought it new for about 250-300 or so (tax, DROS, etc.).
POS; rear sight flew out on the first outing.
Snappy as chit and the small grip ate into my hand.
Plus I could not hit chit with it; long trigger pull and long reset was the worst. I'd say even worse than a revolver.
I did not even try to qualify CCW with that as my others have similar trigger pulls and resets.

The concept is good but the product is chit. I have the hammer version and can't talk to the striker version.

I'd say maybe $100-150. They are not highly sought after per my review.

Reminds me of that POS P-85 I bought.

Maybe someone with GB experience can help you with recent sales.

To put it with you another way, I would not pay$100-150 for even a new one now based on my experience.

PS that last cheesesteak I had from your shop was very tasty!

I just checked GB completed auctions - at a glance, sold prices were mostly in the $175-$225 range for a basic run of the mill LC9.
