Well, after 40 days since I got my C&R my wife finally has said something and I have agreed to slow down the influx of new guns for a while (at least until after vacation). Final tally since June 6:

    Webley Mk IV Revolver
    Israeli 7.62 Mauser
    1913 Erfurt P08
    FN Wartime German marked P35
    FN Postwar German Police P35
    Ruby .32 French WWI Pistol
    Nagant Revolver
    Walther P1
    Mauser Kar98az

And still waiting for MSP to approve the WWII P38 and Beretta 1934 not being purchased under my C&R.

And before someone says 'why no Mosin Nagant'? -- I already had one.

Uh ... but why the Ruby, with all the other good stuff? They are basically POS guns that were designed to (hopefully) not blow up in the first 1,000 rounds.

OK ... now I have to admit that I also have one, but I got it cheap, and it is kinda cool to have a WWI piece in the collection. It just looked sooo out of place in your list.

Well, you named the reason -- I am a WWI (and WWII) buff. Hence the 1913 Luger and Kar98az. Have explored all the US and a lot of the French WWI battlefields. I want to acquire a "type set" of the major combatants' rifles and handguns. The Ruby pistol has an interesting story and was dirt cheap. I have the 1892 Revolver, Lebel rifle, and Berthier rifle and carbine on the wish list to go with it.

(And I already had a Garand, 1903 and 1917 in my collection before getting the C&R).

Long Branch or Savage No.4 Mk1

Wait now.. You bought all that and didnt post one single pic?

    :needpics:

LOL. Would you believe I spent a good part of the weekend photographing my entire collection? Now once I get them edited and sized down to something reasonable, and figure out how to post pictures, you will see plenty.
