The fact remains (R)'s are too incompetent to play hardball. Afraid of offending their enemies.

They aren't afraid of their enemies as we are in fact their enemies. By in large they agree with the Dem's way more than you and me. Two sides of the same coin as it were, maybe even the same side of the same coin in some cases. They simply don't care or believe enough about our issues to force it.

This is the problem with having only two party's. Which the founders were against but the powers in DC sure did get us down to 2 pretty quickly as to consolidate the power with them and take it away from us. The GOP knows we have nowhere to turn from the march left but to turn to them as they only faint at outrage of want the Dem's are doing all the while they all go to the same places and parties.
