Just get a call from my wife that daughter sent her a text about them being told to "shelter in place" at Geynn Park Middle School. Supposedly gunfire heard in the nearby woods. Haven't seen any news on this yet.

Just get a call from my wife that daughter sent her a text about them being told to "shelter in place" at Geynn Park Middle School. Supposedly gunfire heard in the nearby woods. Haven't seen any news on this yet.

Wife is now on the way to pick daughter up after she texted parents were being asked to pick up their kids. Not sure what (if anything) they're doing about bus riders. Still no news reports found.

Prayers that everyone is OK. Has to be stressful for everyone involved.

Hope all is well. Sad, wasn't too many years ago that simply meant someone was Hunting or Target shooting in that part of the county, now we have to lock down a school and worry about nut cases.
