Gunsmith??

I have some custom work I need done to this gun.

I have a vision that I could make it take M1A mags but I am not sure it that is possible. Either way I will have to have it smithed because of the solid stock that I do not want to mess up.

Who knows a good un?

It would help to know where you're located. That said, a number of Industry Partners here have gunsmiths, provide gunsmithing services, or are gunsmiths. I'm sure there's one within a reasonable drive of you.

Get some Surgeon, Badger or a Seekins Detachable mag system. The M1A mag kits dont feed reliably.

Youll need a mill to have the bottom metal fit, or have a Smith do it.

Scotts can do it but you will wait 6 months for the backlog. Hes very busy. You really dont want to use a gunsmith that isnt busy, theres a reason they arent.

I am up in Elkton.

It was just a thought on the M1A mags. I am getting a socom 16 and I thought it would be sweet to have two weapons that take the same mags. Oh well just a thought.
