There is always something in scatter guns. Since quite a few of the members are trap shooters and always getting better guns you just might score. Chris

Just got back from the show. It was small but good. No jewelry! Prices were pretty good although I wasn't buying guns. Prices on reloading components was great as this one guy was clearing out mucho bullets and primers. I collected a few thousand primers at $25 a thousand and a few hundred rifle bullets at $15 per hundred. If you were a .38 special shooter, you could have bought factory 148gn wadcutters and 158 grain wadcutters for $35 per 500.

All in all it was worth the drive.

Bought an old Stevens 12ga Single Shotty for $40 :D. I think Its a model 100. No s/n on it. wood is in good shape, metal...not so much, but I'll clean her up and take her to the next Turkey shoot. also got 50 pcs of 8mm brass for $10.
    Nice little show.

I posted a pic of that shotgun in another thread...chuck was letting that go for a steal!

BTW...I was the younger guy at the door.

I got a nice .RCBS .308 die set for $20 and some .35 remington brass. It was a really good show. Glad I left most of my cash at home!

It was a great deal for me. Not the prettiest ,but I always want to go to the Turkey shoots at the club and didn't own a shotty, so this will fit the bill nicely. I think the wood can be cleaned up a good bit. just a lot of old crud from solid use. I enjoyed the show.
They need to sell chilli dogs though, good GS food.

If these were factory wadcutters that's a nice deal.

They were. They were still in the Hornady boxes that they came in. I didn't ask, but it looked like the guy was selling stuff after his dad passed away. He had primers that were 20 years old and some stuff was labeled Alcan. He had very old RCBS non carbide and Herters size dies also.
