    I am pretty sure MD already can take your firearms if you have a restraining order against you. I have heard a Police Officer and an attorney both say if you have a restraining order it taken out against you immediately give your firearms to a trusted family member outside of your house.

    Maryland police do not provide them to a range to keep. I have heard IF... You get your guns back they can be scratched, rusty, chipped, or worse.

    I can vouch for this statement.. I have seen some that others got returned.. they look like they were stuck in the evidence locker just as any evidence. It would appear as though this is not a dry environment..
