OH CRAP!!!!!!

First I want to apologize to be the bearer of bad news. I got this email late this evening from SOSS:

Noel, my boss has brought to my attention that we do not have more than the original 20 guns to sell. We initially thought the cap could be set at 40 for your Group Buy, but unfortunately many of those serial numbers were marked as Buy-Backs for Corrections, meaning the original officers had previously made arrangements to retrieve their guns back. I’m very sorry for this inconvenience. For those who were wanting a gun past the 20 mark point, what we can do right now is create a mailing list of Names, Telephone Numbers and Email Addresses in order to contact those people if any more become available. There may be more Model 10’s coming in (I have not gotten a definitive answer on that) but I know there are a number of Model 64’s coming in sometime early this year.

What does this mean??? Basically SOSS was promised a certain number of guns but some of those guns were promised as a buy back to the original officer. Therefore, we can not get the 40 guns as promised to use in the cap.

WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE??

1. RIGHT NOW we are going to have to FREEZE everything!!! This isn't fair to the MDS members who wanted to make payment via CC because they were told to wait to make a later payments but right now I have payment for 20 guns.

2. I told Ryan I will call him @ 3pm tomorrow to get an exact number of guns on this 1st Group Buy

3. One of the things i'm going to discusswith him is a second group buy. He mentions they will be S&W Mod 64 which are excellent revolvers!!! I will organized GB #2 whenever that happens. But I don't know waht the price will be on them, of course I will negotiate the same price for those remaining 20 guns.

4. I really feel bad because things were going SO SMOOTHLY!!!!

5. RIGHT NOW.....EVERYTHING is a FREEZE!!! I sort things out tomorrow.

6. Please keep your comments on this thread. I will be PMing a few of you based on what information I get. I'm hoping we can extend that 20 a fe w more guns but DON'T SEND ANYMORE USPS MO's until I its sorted out.
