Got my first Garand today!

Just bought my first M1 Garand. Got it through the MDS Classifieds. Met with Ray (what a nice guy) and bought the gun. Got a few clips and 240 rounds of Greek ball ammo with it. It is a Springfield Armory model (serial #5801XXX series Korean War) and originally came from CMP and has the certificate (Correct Grade) and documentation.
Can't wait to shoot it. It's in great shape.

Congrats on your Garand, it is an awesome rifle. I got my first one from the CMP last August (Service Grade Springfield), and it is a blast to shoot.

Check CMP they have every grade and a range of prices. $1K-1.5 is very high.
